  • Entrance Point: Visitors must enter via the Viseschaisri Gate on Na Phra Lan Road. This is the main gate facing the large green field (Sanam Luang).

  • River Access: Take the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Chang Pier (N9). After exiting the pier, walk straight through the market stalls; the palace entrance will be directly ahead across the street.

  • Landmarks: The temple is situated within the northern quadrant of the Grand Palace complex, recognizable by its high white crenelated walls and golden stupas.

Visitor Essentials:

  • Strict Dress Code: This is Thailand’s holiest site. No shorts, mini-skirts, tight-fitting trousers, sleeveless shirts, or ripped clothing. If you are not dressed appropriately, you may be denied entry.

  • Opening Hours: 08:30 AM – 03:30 PM daily. (Note: The temple may occasionally close for royal ceremonies; it is best to check the official Bureau of the Royal Household website).
