Entrance Gate: The hotel is located within the iconic King Power Mahanakhon building (the “Pixel Building”). The main hotel entrance is on the ground floor, accessible from the driveway off Naradhiwas Road.
Skywalk Connection: Pedestrians coming from the BTS can walk directly into the Mahanakhon CUBE building and take the connecting path to the main tower lobby.
Landmarks: You physically cannot miss it; it is inside one of the tallest and most distinctive pixelated skyscrapers in Thailand.

Visitor Essentials:

The Highlight: Sky Beach & Ojo. Located on the 78th floor, Sky Beach is the highest open-air rooftop bar in Bangkok, offering vertigo-inducing views and yellow retro decor. Just below it on the 76th floor is Ojo, a Mexican-inspired restaurant with stunning pink-and-gold interiors and panoramic windows.

The Vibe: Retro-Futuristic & Playful. Unlike the stiff traditional luxury of nearby hotels, The Standard is vibrant, colorful, and heavily “Instagrammable.” The design by Jaime Hayon gives it a distinct “Wes Anderson movie” aesthetic, featuring curvy furniture, bold primary colors, and a very social, party-centric atmosphere.

Dress Code: Smart Casual / Fashion Forward.

Ojo & Sky Beach: Strictly enforced. No flip-flops, swimwear, or athletic shorts. Men should wear closed shoes and long trousers (or tailored shorts in some cases, but trousers are safer).
The Standard Grill: Casual chic.

Rules:

SkyWalk Access: Access to the famous “Glass Tray” skywalk usually requires a ticket (approx. 880–1,000+ THB) purchased at the ground floor ticketing counter. However, dining guests at Ojo or Sky Beach often get complimentary access included (confirm upon booking).
Pet Policy: The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs (up to 18kg) to stay in rooms and access specific zones, which is rare for a high-end skyscraper hotel.
Photography: Commercial cameras and tripods are restricted in public areas without a permit, though phone photography is encouraged everywhere.
