Entrance Gate: Located at the very end of Soi Kasem San 2.

Arrival: From BTS National Stadium (Exit 1), turn right into Soi Kasem San 2. A free golf cart shuttle often runs from the top of the soi to the museum entrance, though it is a very short walk.

Landmarks: The complex is situated directly on the Saen Saep Canal, across from the historic Baan Krua Silk Weaving Community (where Thompson originally sourced his silk).
Visitor Essentials:
The Highlight: The Thai Teak House Complex. It consists of six traditional teak houses transported from Ayutthaya and other provinces, reassembled on-site without using a single nail. The interior displays his priceless collection of Benjarong porcelain, Buddhist statues, and antique paintings.
The Vibe: Jungle Oasis. Stepping into the compound feels like entering a different era. The lush, overgrown tropical gardens create a cool, mysterious atmosphere that completely blocks out the noise of the modern city, fitting the legend of the “Silk King” who vanished without a trace.
Dress Code: Casual. There is no strict dress code, but you must remove your shoes before entering the main house (socks are recommended).
Opening Hours: 10:00 – 18:00 Daily (Last guided tour begins at 17:00).

Guided Tour: You cannot explore the main house alone; you must join a guided tour (included in the ticket price), available in English, French, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai.

Photography: Photography is strictly prohibited inside the main house. You are free to take photos in the gardens and of the exterior architecture.

Bags: Large bags and backpacks must be left in the free lockers at the entrance.
