Location Information
Detailed Access:
-
Entrance Gate: The park has multiple entrances. The Forest Park/Skywalk section is best accessed via the gate next to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) or the entrance on Ratchadaphisek Road.
-
Landmarks: Located directly opposite The PARQ and MedPark Hospital.
-
Skywalk Access: Ramps leading up to the elevated walkways are distributed throughout the wetland zone; they are wheelchair and stroller friendly.
Visitor Essentials:
The Highlight: The Wetland Skywalk. A massive 1.6-kilometer elevated pedestrian walkway and bicycle path that weaves through mangrove-like swamps and rain trees. At night, the path is illuminated with soft lighting, creating a futuristic glow against the backdrop of the Sukhumvit skyline.
The Vibe: Futuristic & Serene. Unlike the manicured lawns of older parks, this area feels wild and unpolished by design. It is an “urban wetland” intended to act as a sponge for the city. In the evenings, it becomes a major spot for joggers, photographers, and couples enjoying the sunset breeze.
Dress Code: Sportswear / Casual. Most visitors are here to exercise or walk. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended as the park is vast.
Opening Hours: 04:30 – 22:00 Daily.
Rules:
-
Cycling: Bicycles are allowed but strictly on the designated blue bike lanes or the Green Mile connector; they are generally not allowed on the pedestrian-only wooden boardwalks in the wetland zone.
-
Pets: Pets are not allowed in the general park or skywalk areas. They are strictly limited to the designated Dog Park Zone near the Ratchadaphisek entrance.
-
No Alcohol/Smoking: Strictly prohibited throughout the park.
